The Game Fair 2017

If you are a fan of country sports, then attending The Game Fair 2017 is a must. It is the largest outdoor countryside-themed event in the world and set to attract 1,000 exhibitors and 120,000 visitors.

You will find it a welcome place to meet up with long-lost friends, watch gundogs at work, look for a new gun, take part in shooting competitions and source new kit.

There’s something for everyone to enjoy, from the very young to the elderly. It’s a real family day out whether you’re a shooter, a keen cook, an equestrian or you just fancy sitting having a delicious afternoon tea watching the world go by.

Weekly glossy Country Life will be the media partner for The Village Green, an area featuring cricket matches, large TV screens, Tiptree gin bar and cream teas, deckchairs and picnics. Historic fieldsports monthly The Field is set to be the media partner for the new-look Cookery Theatre. Horse & Hound is now the media partner for the Equestrian Ring and Show Jumping Series. Shooting Times will focus on The Game Fair’s unrivalled shopping opportunities by showcasing new products in a special supplement.

Managing director of Time Inc. UK’s Fieldsports Group, Hazel Eccles, commented: “It is my pleasure to announce that we are partnering with The Game Fair. Our iconic brands play such a crucial part in the lives of the fieldsports and country community, this partnership offers a great platform and we are very much looking forward to the event in July.”

The Game Fair is organised by The National Game Fair Ltd who took over running the event from the Country Land & Business Association in 2016. The Game Fair has been running since 1958 and is a key fixture in the calendar of country sports enthusiasts.
